As I recall I added the Social media share and Support Blocks, but if you need feel free to add or remove anything you find appropriate - after all it's your blog I'm just trying to give you a little starting push up. In order to see the Single Blog Page please go to Hamburger icon again then Pages and select page1 - this is the page with the single post layout. Most probably it will load the front page. This way you will load the file I sketched up as a simple Front Page and Single Post Page template upon uoyr request. Than you need to navigate to the folder where you've just extracted the downloaded zip, point to the file called project.mobirise and click Open. If you want to take a look at the project in your Mobirise Builder I think what you would want to do is download the zip file, extract it in a folder of your hard drive, open your Mobirise Builder and from the so called Hamburger icon (the three dashes in the upper left ) go to Sites and under the plus sign select the tiny line stating Import Mobirise Site. I uploaded the simple template I sketched up for you on a side folder of my site - you can find it here:Īnd at the same time added all the files of the uploaded site and the Mobirise.project file (the one used to import the Mobirise project on another computer here: Happy I'm not sure I understand your last request so what I did was this: The good thing is you've got all the blocks you need already definde for you - just drag-drop them and stayle the way you find fit.Īnd if you have any other quesions - just ask But with the freedom inevitably come the resposibilities - in order to achieve the desired appearance you should build it yourself - one block at a time. The Mobirise Builder is something entirely different and in my opinion quite better that the CMS sollutions because of the freedom of acheaving any desired appearance to the page you're creating. Of course you can create as many layouts as you wish - it all depends on you. Then after you're satisfied with the appearance of your article page just duplicate it and edit the duplicate - this way you'll always have a blank template to duplicate and start from. If you need the people to contact you directly or subscribe to a newsletter you intend sending in time you could use the blocks containing forms - setting them is ultra easy - you just have to type your email and you're good to go.Īnyway - I suggest just setting up the lauout without pouring your actual content at first. at the end of the teaser - something like that.įor the single article page I suggest using the blocks from the article section and maybe the same intro blocks with text image if you want your content to have floating images inside the body.Ī cool idea might be adding the social comments block at the bottom of each article or / and maybe the social share block. You could also use the testimonials block for a quite different look of the preview of your articles and just add a link Read more. A good idea is to have some appealing header block for starters or maybe some of those intro blocks with header and text next to a bigger image - for a featured article for example. On the front page I think you would like to use some of the features blocks in order to showcase your articles. The good news is you are not limited by a fixed layout as in CMS solutions - each article can look unique in order to best fit what you're trying to say and at the same place the front page of your blog can contain anything you need alongside with the abstracts / or maybe just the captions - it's up to you to decide of the articles. Hi create blog page you'll just need to set up multiple different pages - one uniting all the posts and a single page for each new post then.
